Quirky Cars

You may or (most likely) may not have been aware of a couple of technical glitches over the last few days.
This was caused by moving the site to a new Web Host – (unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk)
The transfer is now complete, all services are fully operational, and all e-mail addresses have been transferred.
We were able to set-up the site on the new hosting while the *old* site remained working as usual, and then switch the domain to the new one. Seamless.

I must take this opportunity to thank the Support People at Unlimited for their outstanding help in this matter – we’d never have managed the job in time before the previous hosting agreement ended.

It’s been a frantic week or so on the tech front. We’ve integrated with Google Feedburner, added Smartfeed, “Subscribe by E-mail”, and Twitter support. Phew!

Follow us on Twitter – All posts are now Tweeted automatically.

“Subscribe to Quirky Cars by Email” – All you need to do is enter your e-mail address, and Google Feedburner does the rest. Feedburner automatically sends you e-mails when there is new content. You can opt-out at any time using the “unsubscribe” link at the the end of every e-mail message.

“Google Smartfeed” – now it doesn’t matter what format your RSS feed reader requires: Smartfeed detects the correct format and supplies it automatically.
