It’s price? £1400…

The keyword here is BASIC. This isn’t comparable to European cars. The engine is 624cc.
It’s only a step-up if your current transport is an OX.

There will be a Euro-spec version later, with a 1-litre engine and loads of additional gear, inc aircon. And the price will be at least £4000. At which point it becomes rather silly.
